About
The Wey Navigation canal was constructed for boat traffic and as a flood relief channel for the River Wey which runs close by. As a happy bonus it offers some fantastic fishing in a very picturesque environment. Being only 12 metres wide for much of the stretch it is a perfect pole water and offers all of the usual target species that you would expect in a canal.
In the Autumn some stretches offer fantastic Roach fishing on Hemp whilst other anglers prefer to target the shoals of Bream that frequent the stretch.
Whatever you aim to catch, the canal offers a tranquil environment to enjoy your day.
