The Colne Valley’s Premier Angling Society

Founded circa 1884, Uxbridge Rovers is one of the oldest angling societies in the UK. In the early days one of the prime targets were the eels from the clean waters of the River Colne.

Now one of the premiere fishing clubs in West London, Middlesex and the Colne valley, Uxbridge Rovers can offer the angler a variety of waters to fish at an affordable cost. Uxbridge Rovers members can enjoy fantastic array of still and flowing waters, with fish present to match any ambition.

We offer the pleasure angler and specimen hunter fantastic fishing on rivers, ponds, lakes, gravel pits and several miles of the River Colne and Thames. Carp to 30lb+, Barbel to 17lb+, Tench to 12lb+, Bream to 15lb+, Chub to 8lb+ and pike to 20lb+ are all on offer for a very modest subscription.

This website allows visitors to gain as much information about our club and it’s vast range of venues. If you want to join our fantastic club, register now to purchase a URACS membership!

Being a member of URACS is not just about fishing but the sheer enjoyment of being in a lovely basis of tranquillity, at one’s with nature. While the rest of the world goes about its daily madness!

Many thanks to a great society who not only gave my grandchildren free membership, but taught them to fish in lovely surroundings.
