River Thames – Cookham
River Thames – Cookham
This venue is in association with
Thames Valley Angling Association
General Description
This stretch of the River Thames can, on the right day, offer fantastic fishing.
Like much of the Thames, it is wide and deep, providing opportunities to fish with a variety of methods.
One of the favourite approaches here is the Waggler, which has produced good bags of roach and dace.
Other popular methods include pole fishing and using a swimfeeder to target the shoals of bream that patrol the area.
